One of the easiest ways to make any brand funny: position yourself as the solution to an (exaggerated) relatable problem.
Does it matter that there’s little to no chance of your annoying uncle actually easing off the “when are you going to grow up” questions just because you’ve started dabbling in investments using their App?
Of course not! It’s just an entertaining way to make sure we remember their brand.
And they get extra marks because they made us laugh before they introduced that brand – which makes sure our guard is down, and we’re even more susceptible.
