Build It With Your Audience, Not Just For Them

Founder and Head of Growth, White Label Comedy
What is the best way to make sure people actually want what you build?
Build it with them, not just for them. Instead of guessing what your audience needs and hoping you are right, ask them directly what their biggest problem is, let them help shape and vote on the solution, then build the thing they actually asked for. Co-creation turns a risky guess into a product with demand baked in.
The usual way is a gamble
Most products get built in a vacuum. You have an idea, you like it, you spend weeks or months making it, and then you launch it and find out whether anyone else cared.
Sometimes they do. Often they do not. Either way, you found out at the most expensive possible moment: after all the work was done.
A better way: ask first
Recently we did the opposite. Rather than deciding what to make next behind closed doors, we asked our audience two simple questions:
What is the one training you wish existed? And what is your biggest marketing problem that we have not yet solved for you?
Then we gathered the best answers, turned each one into a one-line pitch for a training that would solve it, and opened it up to a vote. Whichever idea won went straight onto the development slate, and the people who asked for it were first in line to get it.
Why co-creation works
This does a few things a solo brainstorm never can.
It removes the guesswork, because you are building against real problems in your audience's own words, not your assumptions about them. It creates demand before the thing exists, because the people who voted are already invested in seeing it made. And it makes people feel heard, which is its own kind of marketing: we asked, they answered, we built exactly what they described.
You end up making something people actively requested, instead of something you hoped they might like. That is a much shorter path to "yes".
Meet Brian
The same principle runs through everything we do: understand what your audience actually cares about, then build around that. Brian, our AI Comedy Marketing Machine, is how we help you do it at the level of your day-to-day marketing.
Brian helps you work out what your audience finds relatable and turn it into ads and content built around their real problems, so your marketing feels made for them rather than at them.
Take Brian for a spin and build your marketing around your audience, not your guesses.
